LOOKING TO RETIRE - THINK ABOUT RAINBERRY BAY IN DELRAY BEACH FLORIDA

RAINBERRY BAY.  Are you approaching retirement?  Chances are you are poising yourself for a move to south Florida if you live up north.  That is a wise decision.
Let me tell you why you should be looking into Rainberry Bay in Delray Beach, Florida.  Rainberry Bay is a 55 plus community.  The homes, condos and townhomes prices right now have never been better.  Palm Beach County is on sale and there is no better time to check into Rainberry Bay in Delray Beach.
The community offers everything you could want.  If you are looking to become a snowbird and still maintain your home up north Rainberry Bay offers you the perfect “lock and leave” situation.  Rainberry Bay is a gated country club style community located just west of Congress Avenue off of Lake Ida.  This outstanding community is located in the city limits of Delray Beach and is only 2.7 miles to the ocean and a very short drive to Delray’s famous Atlantic Avenue.  The main clubhouse at Rainberry Bay is newly renovated.  The community amenities include the clubhouse, card rooms, a library, business center and a Theater.  There is a staggering list of clubs you may join.  The theatre is home to live entertainment.  There are 5 heated pools, a spa, 12 Har-Tru tennis courts which come complete with tennis pro.  There are walking and biking trails along with a fitness center.    The HOA maintenance fee includes the lawn care, so toss that lawn mower, a 24 hour manned security guardhouse, roving security, basic cable and on site management.  At the present time the association replaces the roofs every 12 years or so.  Rainberry Bay is an active 55 plus community.  One family pet is welcomed but may not weigh more than 20 pounds. The property may be rented with restrictions after 2 years of ownership.  In this present real estate market that is a very wise move.
The community was initially developed in the 70’s and building continued for several years.   Many of the residences are “stuck” in the decade that they were built in.  The properties have at least 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.  The kitchens are generally a functional size often with room for a kitchen table.  The floor plans reflect the style of that era but will adapt easily to today’s style of open living easily.  Some of the floor plans in the 2 story townhouses were ahead of their time and will fit today’s way of living beautifully.
So if you are looking to buy and you want a great deal, Rainberry Bay is worth checking out.  If you are the buyer who is getting ready to retire and you are on the younger side of the retirement scale, Rainberry is worth checking out.  Chances are you are not looking to move to Florida just yet.  If you are entertaining the idea of becoming a “snowbird” or “snowflake”,  Rainberry is a great lock and leave.   The residences here will most likely require a little TLC but not all. If remodeling is needed, in the end you will have the perfect south Florida home to accommodate your family and friends.  When and if you ever decide to move to Florida permanently, your Rainberry Bay home will transform into the perfect place to call home.
If you are retired, what are you waiting for?  Check out Rainberry Bay.
