Vero Beach and Indian River County on the Treasure Coast

VERO BEACH IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

 FLORIDA'S TREASURE COAST

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

How you live starts with where you live.

This is "the" question you should be asking yourself, "Where do I want to live?" What is it I need in a home and what is it that I need around me to provide my family and myself with the life we would enjoy living.

Real Estate is more than four walls and a roof. We have come a long way since the cave. Our expectations are defined by schools, shopping, transportation, airports, recreation and culture. Obviously, if you are into bear hunting and snowball fights the Treasure Coast is not for you. If you love the sound of the surf, if you love seeing a flock of pelicans diving into the sea, if you think a wardrobe should have a least eight bathing suits and a countless number of flip-flops the older climate is not speaking to you. Here in the Treasure Coast we live indoors and outdoors. Our homes relate to the yard or the balcony and those outdoor spaces are used because we have the luxury of wonderful weather. Our homes are not made to confine us and protect us from the cold winters; our homes embrace both inside and outside living. Yes, there are those diehards who say what about the change in seasons? To them I say “what about the change in seasons.” Give me a sun kissed day over melting snow and ice any day. I gladly traded in my winter parka for sunscreen almost 40 years ago and I have never regretted it.

So, back to the question; if you could live anywhere, where would it be? I answer, without hesitation, Indian River County and VERO BEACH. Many live close to the beach and have sandcastles and seagulls as neighbors. I live in the Florida countryside away from the dense and intense “coastal city life.” My neighbors include grazing cattle in fragrant orange groves. Vero Beach is all about options. How you live should offer your options. In my case, living in the country I have the options of traveling seven miles to the sand and sea. In the case of the seaside dweller there is the option of traveling seven miles to the countryside. Neither the seaside or country dweller suffers from a shortage of things to do and places to go and experience. Shopping, golf, horseback riding, travel, casinos and all of life’s condiments are within reach. I can enjoy an evening at the club or a hot dog at the beach and Vero offers that.

So when you ask that question of yourself; “if I could live anywhere, where, where would I live?” and part of the answer is I want to live in the sunshine………..please be sure to look into Vero Beach and give me a call. Let me introduce you to a lifestyle in the sunshine. Condo, castle or country home it would be my pleasure to give you a tour and help you find that place where you want to live.http://covb.org/
